Merry-Go-Round, May 30

On the 30th of May, Joe had an appointment with the dentist again in Nashville.  We all went and he dropped the children and I off at Opry Mills Mall.  It was 9 a.m. and they didn’t open until 10, but we had a good time walking around looking at everything.  The bathrooms there are great.  They have family rest-rooms and everyone goes into a large room with a sink.  They have two little bathrooms and a room with a couch and rocking chairs.  This is so great because you don’t have to worry about leaving the children for a second.  Anyway, we did a lot of shopping.  The girls and John really needed a bunch of clothes for some reason.  Up until now we have been really blessed with hand-me-downs.  Charlotte and MaryEllen are on opposite seasons clothes wise, but that shouldn’t be a problem soon.  I have many bigger boys clothes, but not too many size 10 for John.  Well, shop we did.  They were not allowed to even look at clothes unless they were 70% off, but we still did really well.  Just as we were about done shopping a few hours later, Joe called.  He was on his way and met us at the Macaroni Grill.  After that we went around some more and then to finish our mall trip the children got to ride the merry-go-round.  Let me tell you, this thing cruised!  Charlotte started screaming and crying on her horse, so I had to take her off.  I just stood there holding her for the rest of the ride.  The others did fine, of course, and John rode in a tea-cup type of car so he could spin himself around.
